Our first day of VBS in Tanene went very well. The kids had a great time playing the games and making crafts. We had some technical difficulties with the drama but thanks to some close at hand batteries we were able to make the show go on. In the evening we were invited to dinner at a missionary’s house. It was very nice. They even served us fried chicken and cake for dessert! He had a lot of good tips for building our future school. Tomorrow is our last day in Tanene. Hard to believe!

Ruth and Stephen (apparently you're called Squeek? haha) I've never met you but you are part of our Africa team family now! My husband and I went last year and it was truly an experience for our marriage as well as individually.
