Please pray for Pepe and the work in Guinea. Pepe has been encountering some persecution in the other village that he is teaching in. Last week some people from the village came to the place where he teaches and began arguing with him and telling him that they did not want him there trying to convert their children. They threw away his teaching materiials and would not let him leave the room. Thankfully the owner of the house spoke up for him and after some discussion they decided to let him go.
At this point we are praying about how to proceed. Pepe knows that persecution is to be expected and he considers it an honor to share in the Lord's sufferings. However, we also know that there is a time to "dust of your feet" and go where people are open to hearing the truth.
Please pray that God would soften the hearts of the people in this village and that the people would see the love of God through Pepe.
