Thank you so much for your prayers for Guinea! At this time things are going very well. The military officers that are in power have been doing a good job and the people seem quite content for the most part. Time will only tell, but for now we praise God for the peace. Another praise is that they are planning to start work in Mambia next week to provide the village with electricity. This project is supposed to take a few months, but things always take longer than they promised. We are just excited that they are in the process of doing SOMETHING!
Please pray for Pepe as he plans to bring out another helper next month. Pray for wisdom as we desire to help with the water situation. We are looking into an alternative to building wells, but it is very difficult to coordinate things. We are very excited for a new ministry that we plan to start next month as well. It will be similar to a "soup kitchen". The idea is that once a week, Pepe will make large amounts of rice and sauce to pass out to all those who are struggling to provide food for their family. Please pray that this new ministry would bless the people and provide opportunities to share the gospel with many.
